This Blog has been set up as a mechanism to record my jottings about the life of my paternal great great grandfather John Ebbott. Its inception was inspired by the "The Family History Writing Challenge". As with everything else in family history research this writing is based on the collaborative efforts of many others some who I know and other who I have yet to meet . The words are mine, but the foundations are built on the legacy that John left behind.
